Justin Bieber has vehemently denied rumors that he's headed for rehab, while denouncing the "countless lies" about him in the media. “I don’t think I deserve all this negative press,” the singer posted on Instagram on Thursday. “I’m tired of all the countless lies in the press right now, saying I’m going to rehab and how my family is disappointed in me." The 19-year-old, who was photographed with a "smoldering blunt" in January, and then spotted smoking weed in Amsterdam earlier this week, shot back at the media's claims that his family is worried about his substance use. "My family is beyond proud, and nothing’s been said by them, my grandparents wouldn’t know how to reach to press even if they did want to so that was a lie.” Bieber attributes his behavior to his youth, and shoots down rumors that he's headed for rehab. “C’mon. if Anyone believes i need rehab that’s their own stupidity lol," he wrote, "I’m 19 with 5 number one albums, 19 and I’ve seen the whole world. 19 and I’ve accomplished more than I could’ve ever dreamed of. I know my talent level and i know i got my head on straight. i know who i am and i know who i’m not.” The pop star's string of drug-related publicity, and a recent collapse on stage at a concert, led the media to compare him to tabloid fixture Lindsay Lohan. But Bieber denies any similarities with the troubled actress. "And to those comparing me to Lindsay Lohan, look at her 2012 tax statements ;)" he wrote. He eventually deleted the comment and apologized.
