A family from Detroit, Michigan got an extra surprise with the Burger King Kids Meal they purchased for their 4-year-old son: a packed marijuana pipe. Police report that a 23-year-old employee confessed to stashing the pipe in the box to hide it, with no intention of serving it to customers. “So it ended up inside a 4-year-old’s Kids Meal,” Chief David Uhl told the Monroe News. “I couldn’t believe it.” Uhl says that the family was visiting the Splash Universe water park in Southern Michigan when they stopped at Burger King on Tuesday night and ordered takeaway. The boy’s grandfather was walking through the Burger King parking lot carrying the meals when he noticed an employee running to a car in the restaurant’s parking lot. He notified police after the pipe was discovered. The owner of the pipe and his two friends were arrested after drugs and paraphernalia were found in their car. All three are awaiting charges.
