Make no mistake, Demi Lovato knows how to have a good time with out booze. The 20-year-old pop star was accused of drinking and tweeting on Sunday, after quoting some Rihanna lyrics, “Ain’t nobody’s bidnessssss!!!” on Twitter. But the X Factor judge let her followers know she was substance-free, tweeting in response: “I can’t quote Rihanna without people thinking I’m drinking? Haha FYI people—it IS possible to have fun w/o that stuff.” Lovato has been candid about her struggles with bulimia and self-harm, ever since seeking treatment in 2010. She may not take life too seriously, but she has made her recovery a priority, even living in a sober home while filming the X-Factor. And she recently shared that she is opting out of receiving painkillers when she gets her tonsils removed this summer in an effort to avoid getting addicted to prescription medications. “I’m gonna do it without painkillers though because I’m a boss!” said Lovato, who has previously nursed a broken foot and gotten her wisdom teeth pulled without any analgesic-drugs.
