New Mexico State Police have arrested a man and charged him with felony child abuse after the mother of his child noticed unusual track mark’s on the little boy’s neck. At the hospital, the 9-year-old told authorities that his father sometimes injected him with heroin, according to Gawker. Relatives of Jose Paul Velasquez Jr. called him a “good man,” but the youngster tested positive for opiates and marijuana. We hope it won’t take too long to prove this one in court, complete with jail time for Mr. Velasquez.
