Blac Chyna has been making headlines for reasons other than her rumored relationship with Rob Kardashian. The model was arrested last Friday for public intoxication and later charged with drug possession.
Chyna (real name: Angela Renee White) was arrested at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, where she was waiting for a connecting flight to London. She was reportedly drunk and belligerent while boarding the plane, with a source telling TMZ that Chyna was acting like a “drunken fool.” The model yelled “Nasty ass bitch!” at a flight attendant before turning her venom on the plane’s passengers as she declared, “Y’all got no respect for me. I gotta tie my shoes. Let me tie my Yeezys.”
After police eventually boarded the plane and arrested her for public intoxication, she was then given a drug possession charge after being taken to Travis County jail. Although the drug in question has not been revealed, authorities reportedly found “more than 1 gram, but under 4 grams” of it on her during a search.
In a truly bizarre twist, Kardashian then drove 1,400 miles from Los Angeles to pick Chyna up in Austin. He posted a Snapchat photo from Austin about 22 hours after her airport arrest, meaning he left almost immediately after the incident because the drive takes at least 19 hours. He captioned the photo, “Bye Texas,” and included a four-leaf clover emoji.
An anonymous source told TMZ that the Kardashians are worried that he isn’t thinking clearly and that drugs and alcohol may be playing a role in his decision-making. Kim Kardashian previously suggested in a Rolling Stone interview last July that his 100-pound weight gain was partially due to drug and alcohol abuse, while numerous tabloid reports have also claimed that the family has staged interventions and persuaded him to go to rehab.
“It’s not that mysterious, what’s happening with Rob…He has gained weight. He feels uncomfortable being on the show, and that’s OK,” she said. “Do I think he smokes weed, drinks beer, hangs out and plays video games with his friends all day long? Yes.”
