Piers Morgan has conducted an interview with Mitch Winehouse, father of singer-songwriter and addict Amy, who died on July 23, aged 27. “She had so many qualities and so many frailties, but she was a wonderful girl and a wonderful friend,” says Winehouse Sr. in the preview clip. “All of the nonsense that was written about her in the papers… It’s all gone now.” He is set to launch the Amy Winehouse Foundation to help young addicts on September 14. The full interview airs next Tuesday.
