In yet another example that the uber-rich don’t live like the rest of us, a New York City divorcée is being accused of hosting prostitute and drug-fueled orgies at her multi-million dollar Park Avenue apartment.

Barbara Virginia Hudson, 52, had her alleged activities come to light after suing her former maid, Joanna Pimental, for allegedly stealing $60,000 in pre-signed checks from her home while she was away on vacation. Although Pimento now has a charge of grand larceny hanging over her head, she did manage to attain several affidavits from former employees of Hudson who were less than pleased while working for her.

Hudson’s former architect claimed that he twice found her “in need of resuscitation” after passing out from drug and alcohol use, while also suggesting that “a mysterious Italian boyfriend named Fernando” hosted prostitute-filled orgies at the apartment. The superintendent in her building wrote that he found her several times naked and “in near stupor condition,” noting he was “frankly amazed that she is still living.”

But it was Pimental’s affidavit which arguably produced the most outrageous accusations. She claimed that her former boss would have crippling drug comedowns that left unable to leave the bed for days, even to use the bathroom. She was then forced to clean up excrement “in the bed and on the bed” from both Hudson and her dog.

Hudson is also facing a witness tampering charge for allegedly threatening to “ruin” the architect’s “marriage and business” if he testified in favor of Pimental. She is due in court in October to address the charges.
