Cue the “drug bust” gags: Spanish authorities arrested a woman with three pounds of pure cocaine hidden in her breast implants at the Barcelona airport earlier today. Border officers became suspicious when the woman gave them some vague answers about the reason for her trip from Colombia. Agents then noticed fresh scars and bloody gauze on her chest, the woman claimed she had recently had breast implants for cosmetic reasons. She was then sent to a local hospital for a grisly procedure involving the removal of her implants and the discovery of her cargo. Spanish authorities regularly screen flights from Latin America in an effort to prevent drug smuggling.
